No Identity Freaky Mist

Hey guys, I know its been a few days. I have gotten kind of busy lately. The weird name of this blog is just taking one word out of four movies I am about to tell you about! I love movies. I try to rent them as often as possible and recently I rented: Identity(2003), The Mist(2007), No Country for Old Men(2007), and Freaky Friday(2003). The first movie we watched was Freaky Friday, I rented it for my niece Samantha. It has Lindsay Lohan(Mean Girls, Parent Trap), Jamie Lee Curtis(Halloween), and Chad Micheal Murry(One Tree Hill, House Of Wax) in it, and if you haven’t seen it you should. It’s very funny.

Freaky Friday Scene:

Then we watched Identity; I personally love this movie. I have seen it before, but I am a huge John Cusack(1408,Say Anything) fan and decided to rent it again. If you haven’t seen the movie you should check it out. It is a suspense/thriller and has a great ending.

Identity Trailer:

The next day we watched The Mist a movie based on a Stephen King novel. Stephen Kings is a great author, but some of the movies based after his books aren’t as good as they should. So at first I wasn’t sure if I’d like the movies. Then I found out Thomas Jane(The Punisher) is in the movie. The mist is fantastic it really captures the atmosphere of the novel. The ending of the movie is shocking and brought me tears and chills. I highly suggest this movie!

The Mist Trailer:

The last movie we watched was No Country for Old Men. I personally didn’t think I’d like to much, but I rented for my dad. After watching it I have to say the movies is well done. I took a liking to Javier Bardem(Love in the Time of Cholera) and his character. His performance was amazing. Also Tommy Lee Jones(Double Jeopardy,Men In Black) is in the film and he has always been a great actor. The movie was very interesting from the beginning, but the ending is a little soft. I do recommend it though.

No Country for Old Men Trailer:

So my mother has been down recently. When she went to bed the night before Mother’s Day my sister-in-law Rachael and I decorated the entire down stairs so when she walked out of her bedroom the morning of Mother’s Day she would see it. We stayed up to five in the morning doing it, but it was worth it. My mom did feel great after words. My mom is making a cookbook, so we bought here a Margarator which is a machine that can make iced drinks and such. She liked it a lot and we used it to make Strawberry Margaretta’s and Daiquiri’s. Since then I have just been working and trying to write more. Also trying to get my art website up, but I have a while to go. Well I guess that is all for now, but you all should check out www.lost.eu/76dcd it is a pretty cool site.

Drama Is Poison

Mood: Annoyed
Music: Iron Madien - Iron Man
Activity: Sleeping

Drama is a poison. My sister has lost her mind, and I don’t think she knows what she is doing anymore. Though my main concern is for her child; my niece Samantha. She doesn’t feel comfortable with where she is living. On a slightly brighter side I went to see Iron Man which stars Robert Downey Jr(who I am a big fan of). The movie was absolutely amazing. I completely loved it. I never really read the Iron Man comic books, but the story was compelling and the movie was exciting from beginning to end. If you haven’t seen it I suggest you do so! Last night I talked to an old friend of mine for several hours(if you read the story in my last entry; thats who I was talking to). It’s amazing how time can hide things and how much you can learn if you just open up. Though it’s also amazing when what you’ve learned actually makes you wish you could change things. I don’t know time is a very frustrating element.

Five Movies I’d Like to See In Theaters:
1) The Dark Knight
2) The Incredible Hulk
3) War Inc.
4) The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
5) Tropic Thunder

For those of you who have been living under a rock and haven’t seen the Iron Man movie trailer here is is:

This is the Twilight Teaser:

I’m not sure if I will like the movie.

Like A Broken Record

Mood: Confused
Music: Silence
Activity: Soul Searching

I keep telling myself I am going to blog more, but then I don’t. I am going to try to blog twice a week. Even if one of them is just a video or pictures. I don’t know. I got a raise at my job. That was pretty cool. Other then that nothing exciting has really happened. My Sister-In-Law Rachael and I have been filming scenes for our little web show. I streaked the under layer of my hair. It’s a blue-greenish color. My dog Precious is dying of cancer. We have had her for about eight years now. She is a beautiful, brave, and strong Chihuahua.

My beautiful dog Precious!

So recently I have been thinking about the past a lot. About things I did and things I wish I’d done. Well I wrote a story about a friend of mine. He was in love with me and I was in love with someone else. The person I was in love with was my first love and he had broken my heart. Well this is a true story about one night under the stars. If you actually read this please keep in mind that it is a true story.

Under A Starry Sky

It seems like a lifetime since that night. That night we laid in the street together staring at the stars. You wrapped your arms around me and pleaded love. My heart was already broken at that time and I tried so hard to heal it. I wanted to love you but my heart completely prohibited it. Or what was left of my heart to prohibit. The person who tore my heart apart had stolen half of it. He was my first love, and we all know how hard those down falls can be. I needed time to adjust: to heal. You tired to kiss me several times, and though the moment would have been beautiful I rejected. I pushed you away mainly out of fear, fear of regret. As friends we were so close; so I feared a kiss would lead to regret. “Why won’t you let me kiss you?” he asked softly. I could hear the confusion in his voice, but I didn’t know how to answer. I wanted my heart to be whole again so I could move on and learn to love anew. My eyes were fixed on the stars as I started to wonder what could happen if I dared to open up. He lies next to me softly caressing my stomach. What began as an innocent jester grew to something much more confusing. His hand lay near my center thigh and slowly caressed upward. At that moment I imagined it; what it could be like to have my first time here. The stars above me proved romance but the road below me was so rough. Then my feelings reoccurred and I remembered not knowing how I felt. I pushed you away again. I stood in discomfort and the memories of my broken heart rushed through me. I started to cry: I cried over my hearts thief. I began to walk towards my house and I could hear your footsteps behind me. You might have spoken, but I couldn’t hear. I laid on my drive way and you joined me. After a few minutes we began to hold each other until your ride arrived. It must have been two in the morning. We talked some, but I can’t remember what about. Though I do remember the look on your face as you left and how true the emotions showed through. Time went by and as my heart started to heal I began to open up to the possibility, until she came. You wanted her so I accepted the fact that you found someone. I was glad to see you happy; you deserved it. Though I never knew you would throw are friendship away. You erased me from your life and I was wretched. Then life went on without you. I tired to hate you, but it was useless so I merely blocked you from my mind. At times you would pop up in my head and I hope you were okay. I learned to live with half a heart and I accepted that my ex-love; my first love would always have half of me. A half no one could touch. As for the boy on the street we haven’t talked in awhile, but I know one day we will talk again. Maybe we’ll meet on the street with a starry sky shining upon us. Maybe the stars will make a wish of their own and maybe miracles do happen. Maybe friends never really die.

Hush

Music: Ashley Marie Egan - Hush
Activity: Quizzing

Hey guys, guess what? … I have pneumonia and strep throat! well I don’t know for sure, but my brother and sister have it. Now my sister-in-law has it, and we have been spending alot of time together for the web-show (aka Keller’s War), and now I feel like I have it. I keep getting dizzy, coughing, and such. My entire body aches, and my head is feeling weird. It sucks because I always get sick, and I don’t have insurance so if it gets to bad I’ll have to go to the hospital, again. Anyway, how was everyones easter? We don’t do much on easter. My niece(Samantha) colored eggs and then my Dad hid them. I had to follow here around taking pictures. My Mom and I had bought all the stuff for her basket the night before. Her favorite thing was the Hanna Montanan doll. Then Samantha and my Dad made Deviled Eggs! My Mom made dinner and Rachel and I worked on Keller’s War (aka web-show) first episode. It’s finished now, but we can’t start filming yet. We have to by a camera and were trying to find one thats really good, but not too expensive. Do you know of a place I could get one? Anyway, i recorded the lullaby I sing to my dog Sky it’s called Hush. Remember I have pneumonia so if it dosen’t sound thta good, don’t lie just tell me. I hope you like it though!

Okay and to finish that off here is a quiz I took.

WOW. My days have been really boring lately. I haven’t done much more then work. Though I have started a scrapbook for my movie tickets. I have collected quite a few over the years and decided to start a scrapbook for them. I saw the movie Spiral a few days ago. It’s a really good movie, but it starts off slow. It reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock’s work, so if you like him you will more then likely enjoy the movie. Anyway I made some icons for it.

Well thats all I have for know. I will try to write something interesting soon. LOL. Oh and here is another Meme.

6. “Fix” my cats.
7. Get my license.
8. Spend more time doing things that make me happy.
9. Spend more time with my friends.
10. Learn To believe in myself.

Long Day = Long Blog

Mood: calm
Music: Full of Grace - Sarah McLachlan
Activity: blogging

About four days ago I walk into work. My manger Bill comes up to me and asks “How’s Matt?”. I was very confused, “How would I know?” I asked. Then he sates, “Because your going out with him.”. Going out with him! We went on one date and know were going out. NO! It just really ticked me off at the time. I’ve cooled down since then, but I just really hate when crap like that happens. Anyways, I have been sick for the last three weeks. Though recently things have gotten worse. I have been running temperatures in the hundreds and coughing my brains out. I fear that I might have pneumonia. So my mom and I wake this morning around 8:00 a.m. We head down to this clinic that is supposed to see you if you have a low income and no insurance. Well it takes us almost an hour to get there just for them to say that we have to be a “member”. We both leave very annoyed. If they would have had a number it would have saved a trip. So my mom asks me if I’d like to go to the hospital. Well, I hate hospitals and am very stubborn about going to one. So she calls my doctor and asks to set up a payment plan so I can be seen. The doctors office say they will call back. We decide to go eat at Scholizkies Deli. Which is one of my favorite places to eat. As we wait for our food the doctor calls back. The next time they got is 2:30 on Monday and we only have to pay $50. So I just have to make it through the weekend. We head to the mall to pick up my check. I find out I have to work, GREAT! Then as we start to drive home we discover that our phones are disconnected. We try to hurry home to catch my sister Hope before she leaves. When we get there she is still asleep. LOL! She pays the bill over the phone. I lay on the chaise with my beautiful dog sky for a few moments. Then my mom suddenly says we have to drop my urine off at the doctors and go get Samantha(my niece). We hop back into the car and start singing about being “The Urine Dropper Offers.”. I know we are totally crazy, but hey it was fun. On the way to get Sam we get some cappuccinos. We finally make it back home. We all chill out and watch She’s The Man. I love that movie it is just too cute and funny. After the movie Hope arrives back home gets the baby and heads back out. At this point I have two hours before work. My mom makes us soup and cheese toast as I gulf down a bottle of vitamin water. We eat as we watch Hide and Seek. After the movie my dad gets us and we head to work about an hour early(traffic). We stop to get another cappuccino, and by time I get to work it is gone. Work wasn’t to busy which made it a lot easier for me. Though I had to take a cough drop every five minutes to prevent myself from infecting anyone and throwing up. We leave by 9:30 p.m. and I am dead. My mom and dad pick me up with a cappuccino. When we get home my mom and I make some food then crawl into her bed and watch Gothika .After the movie I make my way to my bed room and here I am. So that was my long day. Oh and if you haven’t noticed I made a new layout using Priscilla’s line art. I really like it and I hope you all do to. Other then that I have fixed the Guess Who forms and added an apply form for wanna be affies. I want a few special affies as kinda blog buddies in a sense. So once I get some I will probably close the application process. So if you are interested apply. Oh and the forms might not work properly with Internet Explorer, but I am not sure. Well I am going to leave you off with a meme. I saw this idea some where, but can’t remember where.

How you know a book was written by me:
1. The main character is almost always female.
2. If there is a romantic subplot it is nearly always forbidden in someway, but very very pure.
3. Something traumatic happens, and someone dies are is already dead.
4. The main character is an outcast with many or no fears.
5. There is an animal involved or one of the charters are vegetarian/vegan.
6. Blood is often described.
7. A hospital is mentioned or a character ends up in one.
8. There’s an allusion to William Shakespeare or Edgar Allen Poe.
9. The end is either sad, unusual, or unexpected.
10. At least one character has an odd name.

Long time, eh?

Hello Loves! How was everyones Valentine’s Day? Mine was okay. Mostly I made some cookies and banana bread with my mom then watched The Brave One. It was a really good movie. Other then that I didn’t do much. I have never really been big on the Holiday. So yesterday I got my hair trimmed. I am trying to grow it out. Soon I will be dying my hair, and it shall be a normal color. Which I am sure will shock some. Recently I have made a new fanlisting for “Kutner” from House M.D. and I am using Enthusiast. Though I am having some problems with working it. Speaking of I can’t figure out what is wrong with my forms! None of them are working and I can’t find the reason. Also my “Ask Me” is messed up. I don’t know I might just delete it and start again. When I get my forms fixed I will be looking for new affies. Anyways. Last Thursday I went to see 27 Dresses with this guy from work. The movie was good, but I am not sure if I like him that way, you know? It has been awhile since i have done this dating thing. Do you think have a spark is important? Let me know. Oh, here is another podcast type thing. In a way it’s like a personal story about high school and in a way it isn’t. Please give it a listen and tell me what you think.
